PENGGUNAAN POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL-6000 DAN FUNGSIDA DELSENE MX-200 PADA PENYIMPANAN BENIH KAKAO (Theobroma cacao L)

Abstract


The objetive of the research was to understood the efect of fungicide “Delsene MX-200” and Polyetylene Glycol-6000 on the storage of cacao seeds. The research was conducted in the seeds laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture, Haluoleo University, Kendari, South East Sulawesi. The complete random Design with to factors was used in this experiment. The first factor was fungiside “Delsene MX-200” with four level of treatments consisted of three different fungiside concentrations: 0,5% ( F1), ( F2), and 1,5% ( F3); and treatment without fungiside (F0). The second factor was Polyetylene Glycol-6000 also with four level of treatments with three different concentration : 30% ( P1), 35% ( P2) and 40% ( P3); and treatment containg no Polyethylene Glycol-6000 (P0). The results showed that the interactions between fungiside “Delsene MX-200” and Polyethylene Glycol-6000 were significant at all variables observed. The better results were obtained from treatment with the mixture of 1% fungicide “Delsene MX-200” and 35% Polyethylene Glycol-6000.
