PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN KINETIN, IAA DAN GA3 TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN PLANTLET KENTANG

Abstract

An experiment has been undertaken in Tissue Culture Laboratory of IVEGRI in Lembang. It aimed to determine best combination of kinetin, IAA and GA3 growth hormones. Medium used in the experiment was MS added with 30g sugar, 0.1mg GA3, 100ml coconut water and 6g agar per Liter. There were 18 treatments, consisted of kinetin (0.1, 0.55 and 1μM); IAA (0.1, 0.55 and 1μM) and GA3 (0 and 1μM) and arranged in a completely random design with 10 replications. Explants used were in vitro shoot-cuttings of potato plantlet cv. Granola. Results revealed that there was no interaction effect between kinetin, IAA and GA3 upon explant growth. MS medium added with kinetin, IAA and GA3 in balanced concentration afforded best growth of plantlet cv. Granola.
