PENGARUH PUPUK FOSFAT DAN KALIUM TERHADAP HASIL DAN KARAKTERISTIK BUAH JERUK KEPROK SELAYAR

Abstract

Fertilization plays an important role in improving yield and quality of citrus. This assessment aimed to determine P and K dosages that were suitable for citrus cv. Selayar. An experiment was conducted in Tri Tiro of Bulukumba, from January to December 2003. It was arranged in a 2-factor randomized complete block design. First factor was P fertilizer consisted of four dosages, i.e. 0, 180, 300 and 540 g P2O5 tree-1 year-1. Second one was N fertilizer also consisted of four levels, i.e. 240, 480, 720 and 960g K2O tree-1 year-1. Each treatment was applied on 10 citrus trees with three replications. Result indicated that P and K fertilizers, separately as well as in combination, increased yield, vit C content and total acid. Combination of 180g P2O5 and 720g K2O improved the yield and quality of citrus cv. Selayar and also more beneficial.
