Abstract

challenge to fulfill it with the properly
cultivation technique. Sambiloto is usually
cultivated by seed, but the main obstacle of this
cultivation is it less viability and it dormancy.
The objective of the research is to find out the
properly dormancy breaking technique through
seed soaking temperature variation which
derived from differently altitude and its
influence on the sambiloto seed viability. The
research results showed that there were no
interaction between provenience seed and seed
soaking. Seed treatment from middleland gave
the highest average in all seed viability variables.
Seed soaking in 60OC gave the highest seed
viability, germination percentage, uniformity, and
value.
