PENGARUH HERBISIDA PARAKUAT TERHADAP JAMUR AGENS HAYATI DAN KEPARAHAN PENYAKIT BUSUK PANGKAL BATANG LADA
Abstract
Misapplication of herbicide and its residue could
to negative impact in the diversity of soil biota
and growth planted. The objective of the
research was to know the influence of paraquat
herbicide toward disease severity of foot rot on
pepper plant, the populations of biological
agents, and the growth of pepper plant. The
research was done in Laboratory of Plant Pest
and Disease and Green House Faculty of
Agriculture Haluoleo University. Factorial
design in Completely Randomized Design was
used in this experiment with following factors:
1) giving of herbicide paraquat (within without
herbicide, 20 ppm and 40 ppm); 2) biological
agent (within Trichoderma sp. and Gliocladium
sp.). Three replication were used. Research
results showed that the application of paraquat
herbicide gave the symptom of diseases comes
earlier, improve disease severity of foot root,
reduced the populations of biological agent, and
reduced the growth of pepper plant.
