KAJIAN KOMPONEN AGRONOMI BANGLE (Zingiber purpureum Roxb.) PADA BEBERAPA KETINGGIAN TEMPAT YANG BERBEDA

Abstract


Zingiber purpureum Roxb. is an important medicinal plants and have a great potention to developed. Z. purpureum used for medicines, cosmetics, and spices. Z. purpureum grow in varies area with different altitude, that environment will affect to rhizome dry weight. Aims of research was to determine the effect of an agronomic components to Z. purpureum yield and to know the dry weight of rhizome on different altitude. Result showed that agronomic components which gave significantly effect Z. purpureum yield were soil (pH and C-Organic), growth components (number of shoot) and yield component (number of mayor and minor rhizome). Environment factors influencing Z. purpureum rhizome dry weight were humidity, light, temperature (climate) and culture. The highest dry weight of Z. purpureum rhizome gained at 760 m (Karangtengah), but non significantly at 450 m (Jumapolo).
