MODEL MATEMATIK POPULASI VESICULAR ARBUSCULAR MYCORRHIZAE (VAM) PADA PERGILIRAN TANAMAN JAGUNG DAN KEDELAI DI JATIKERTO, MALANG
Abstract
The potencial use of Vesicular Arbuscular
Mycorrhiza (VAM) fungi in our agriculture
practice has not been optimally explored yet
because the farmer has not been accustomed yet to
use VAM fungi in their agricultural practice. This
research goal is to manage VAM fungi population
in the soil by crop sequenting pattern management
hopely easier to applied with main goal is
economically and biologically advantages. Forecasting
model of VAM fungi population in the
soil in this research is based on the difference of
crop sequenting pattern, both, ordinary farmer
and a new crop sequenting pattern have applied.
The result of experiments indicated that all
pattern of sequenting planting in form the
polinomial model. Population growth mathematic
model of indigenous VAM fungi doesn’t
different to introduced VAM fungi. Inoculation
of Gigaspora sp. VAM fungi (indigenous) in the
sequenting planting of soybean-corn-soybean
give high advantage economically and biologically.
Among all environment factors, soil
temperature, rainfall, and N soil content
dominantly affect the VAM fungi spore
population growth. Content of pH soil and COrganic
have not a significantly effect to VAM
fungi population growth in soi
