IDENTIFIKASI FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRODUKTIVITAS KAKAO DI PROVINSI SULAWESI TENGAH
Abstract
This research aims at finding aut factors influencing cocoa productivity in the province of Central Sulawesi. The data used in this research was primary data and secondry data. The research site was based on the purposive samping with distribution and the main cocoa producer were district of Donggala and district of Poso, where as district of Parigi Moutong (Parimo) was taken as sentral grout. Further more, two sub-districts were taken as samples of each district which was consideret to be most productive cocoa producs, based on the information from Departement of station and forestry of Donggala district and Poso District.3 villages were taken from each sub-district as samples with 5 respondents determined in sampes random sampling, thus there are 2 x 2 x 3 x 5 = 60 respondent. While, the central grout district was taken trough random dampling from three villages 3 x 5 = 15 respondents. There were total of 75 respondent. In this research, qualitative and quantitative researchwere capplied with statistical application in the farms of table of plantation and percentage of the research finding. The conclusions are (1) the source of seedling was poor since it was not from selected seedling plantation, in which 76% of palantation obtaining seed from production plantation so that there is 33,33% of the owner of the plantation did not know the variety that they planted and 38,67% mentioned as a local variety. (2) there is 54,67% of the owner of plantation owner used plantation distance 3m x 3m, though, the plant population was not maximum, (3) cocoa productivity was still low that is 66,67% around < 500-1000 kg/ha.
