POTENSI DAN DAYA DUKUNG LIMBAH PERTANIAN SEBAGAI SUMBER PAKAN TERNAK RUMINANSIA DI KABUPATEN BANTAENG, SULAWESI SELATAN
Abstract
The objective of the study was to evaluate potential of crop residues as feed
resources for ruminants in Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi. Results of the
evaluation showed that total dry matter production of crop residues was 46,762.44 tons
in which 69.12% was corn stover. Total digestible nutrient production of crop residues
was 23,017.06 tons, which can provide feed for about 14,660 animal unit of ruminants.
